With a natural flair and grasp of the English language, one of her earliest poems was selected and published in the National Anthology of Young poets when she was 12. She has since published numerous pieces including two chapbooks of poetry and experimental prose as well as in several online magazines. She studied short fiction writing with Katy Darby at City University London in 2020.

Her short fiction piece 'IN THIS WORLD WE BURN IN DIFFERENT WAYS' was shortlisted for the Guardian 4th Estate prize 2024. 

She was shortlisted twice for the London Writers Award by Spread The Word in 2021 and 2022.

She founded 'SOUL SAUCE LITERARY',

a bi-annual magazine to feature and showcase writings at the intersections of literature and philosophy.
